Video is decrypted so you can ignore the MAKEMKV dir.
Note that even though the content is 4:3, the video itself is 16:9 i.e. 1440x1080 + vertical black bars = 1920x1080.
Cropped encodes made from this should take this into account for the PGS/BD SUP subs since this will cause rescaling and squish the subs on most players, as it tries to fit a 1920 wide subs into 1440 wide video (PGS subs have a dimension property). To compensate, the PGS subs need to be recreated with the width scaled by 1.333x, or its video width property stretched out by 1.333x.

An alternative is to OCR the subs to create SRT/SSA text subs.
