can anyone recommend a good video player seems mine doesn’t recognize the SSA subs which is unusual.

I think there is about +200 ms audio delay. So in your media player adjust audio sync 200 ms. Because there is no good quality encode other than this. I did the extra work for the encoders and those who will download the files. 200ms mean .2 second. I hope you can enjoy it fairly.

Honestly, don’t even bother downgliding this. Yeah, the timing on subs of off, there are random 3-10 seconds chunks with no subs at all, and there are Asian hardsubs cluttering the screen. But the biggest problem is the translation itself. I’m pretty sure google can do a better job. Here are some nuggets of the madness you’re in for: “I am not a person who wants to live and is afraid of death”, “This kind of thing wants to frame me”, and “It’s now popular to use medicine if you can’t beat it”.
