In addition to his outrageous Kansai accent, which I've tried to represent in this translation, Yama references a ton of mecha shows including: 1. Gundam, many times: "This thing's on!" "Now... show me what this Deerkalion is capable of!" "I have a home to return to! Nothing feels as good as this!" 2. Tenga Toppa Gurren Lagaan, in the name of Deerkalion. 3. Space Battleship Yamato: "Energy stores to 120%!" 4. Might Gaine: "Now arriving, right on time!" 5. Basically every delinquent action show ever with the kanji splash screen attacks. Surprisingly, no references to Shikanoko Nokonoko Koshitantan except that he likes deer. You might remember that the last person to reference Might Gaine was Ginga in Shinkalion Z, when he used the same catchphrase. In any case, enjoy. This is the funniest episode of Shinkalion CTW so far. Special note: Yama's nickname for Ten is actually "Ten-Musu" which is a type of shrimp onigiri or rice ball specific to Nagoya, and it's very tasty. Except it wouldn't make much sense in a translation so I opted for Ten-Pura which is related.
