Finally this is over, hope it won't return.
It will return and i wait for it.
If return, I already banned it from my list.
I can safely say that this season of DanMachi had the most dogshit atrocious translation I've ever seen. 50% of the time the lines had little resemblance to what was being said. And to make those cat puns especially they often ignored what was being said completely. DanMachi deserves better.
@Century-Coloured-Zeta I can say it for other shows sadly, Also reached to the state where I'm "over wondering" if lines like "They" when they're talking about someone who is obviously a she like with certain dragon from another show, wasn't just the usual translator madness
@egozi44 I believe it's safe to assume evil intent at all times. Mistakes like that don't just happen. It takes a lot of thought and intent to intentionally change the meaning of a sentence in order to include puns, or as you mentioned, to use "they" when referring to a female character.
every crunch-shit show is translated that way. Just turn subs off
